2U 19 inch high-end storage server

ECOserver model EGS is designed for professional and critical application use such as reliable IP Camera support, IP building and access control and reliable bulk storage. ECOserver model EGS features dual redundant power supplies to ensure maximum uptime, and offers hot swappable drives to the front. ECOserver model EGS can run one or two XEON processors, and has 12 bays for housing 3.5 inch drives meaning that up to 36 TB of gross data storage is available in 2U of rack-space. Used with a RAID card ECOserver model EGS makes a highly efficient and cost-effective reliable storage solution. ECOserver model EGS is ideal for running virtualization software like VMware, XEN or Hyper-V or as a Windows Server to host for example, multiple security cameras for major facility monitoring projects. As well as the 12 x 3.5” drive slots there is room for 2 x 2.5-inch drives (including Solid State Disks) for running secure Operating Systems in the safest way, and it is also possible to fit a slimline DVD drive for uploading new software or data such as camera images stored on DVD capture.

General Information:

ECOserver Model EGS is a useful combination of processing power and storage volume. Up to two powerful Intel Xeon processors can be used in the compact 2U chassis, combined with a maximum of 36 TB hot swappable storage. This makes ECOserver model EGS extremely well suited as a central storage server for large IP security projects and also excellent for use in data center environments.

Specific properties of ECOserver model EGS The powerful 760 watt redundant power supplies provided ample power at maximum efficiency. Options for ECOserver model EGS include a Slim line DVD at the rear and 2x 2.5-inch SSD internal drives for dual OS when needed. The high-performance motherboard from Intel and up to 96 GB of memory creates a true powerhouse. ECOserver model EGS can be provided with various RAID storage solutions. At the back there is room for three expansion cards via a riser card supplied as standard. ECOserver model EGS uses energy-efficient processors, fans and power supply make very powerful server with optimal power performance.
