ECOserver – server model overview

 

The current ECOserver range is a basis and can be supplied as standard or customised to any extent to be used in a large number of applications. Typical applications and the unique ECOserver family attributes are listed below.

 

 

 

 

 

ECOserver model EGA is an extremely flexible platform, often used for high-end IP security projects, virtualization and hosting. Model EGA offers energy economy, high specification/performance and durability reliability, redundant power supply and optional of hot swappable drives.

EGS is ECOserver's flagship model, ideal for high-end IP security projects, virtualization and hosting. ECOserver model EGS offers a unique combination of form factor, high specification, performance and reliability. Standard specification includes redundant power supply and space to fit up to 12 x 3.5 inch hot-swappable drives so that up to 36 TB of storage can be provided within just 2U of rack space.

ECOserver Model EEB is a compact server built for many different applications. It can be wall, desk or cupboard mounted, but can also be fitted into a 19-inch rack, where it occupies 2U of space.


Also available as ECOserver model EEP which includes an integrated PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch so as to provide an instant secure discrete network for IP camera hosting.

ECOserver model EHA (quad server) is designed for situations where large numbers of dedicated servers are needed. This unique unit offers four discrete (hardware) servers in just 1U of rack-space. ECOserver model EHA is designed for use as a storage server or as a web server. Each of the four servers feature extremely low energy consumption. Each server can operate independently from the other servers, or can be configured as a 1U mini-cloud. Supplied with a Management module to reboot servers.

ECOserver model EIB is now in its 3rd generation and is widely used as a security server. It combines a shallow (less than 50cm deep) 19-inch form factor with powerful processors and huge storage capacity for video camera recording. Model EIB can also be configured as a Video client machine or video wall generator manage multiple DVI or VGA screens.

Model EIM is a development of the EIB model. The emphasys is on performance - we offer motherboards with double XEON processors here, combined with Solid State disks for the Operating system and industrial quality video disks for the storage of video images and offers a very powerful solution for IP security solutions.

ECOserver Model EIP is the first server for high-end IP camera solutions with an integrated PoE switch (which can support up to 28 PoE cameras!). Model EIP can also be supplied with analogue ports to connect traditional CCTV cameras. Combined with a suitable UPS EIP can be the heart of a security camera system over a large enterprise which will keep recording even in power outages.
